Is it worth it?

1. CopperBand Medium 69.99
2. Box Charge 10.00
3. Shipping 49.99 (Saturday Delivery)

Total: $128.00

This is from themarinecenter.com

Looking for a copperband that eats aptasia. I know I have a 50/50 chance of getting one just wondering is it worth the gamble to order one from those guys for that price.

What would you do?

way to high, they are $35 local here. Plus they may not eat what you want them to eat. What about a Heniochus bannerfish, I have them in my 120 and they are eating the aptasia in the tank.

oops, I made a mistake on the name. The right name is there now.
Sorry

MarineLife: What kind of fish is that and is it reef safe?

why do you want to specifically order offline? i know i prefer to see my fish eat and act healthy before buying them. you are in NJ as am i. if you need the names of some good LFS i would be happy to give them to you. but $128 for a copperband is a little steep.

quantim0: Thanks Buddy I know them all, Hanover, Absolute fish, Reef encounter, Rt 4 aquarium and so on. Everyone says to make sure it is Australian and nothing else so that's why I thought it would be a good idea (maybe 128.00 :( ) to get one where other people get theres. But I'm not sure now.

This is a picture of them with my Rabbitfish, I would not have them in a reef I think they would be corals just like the copperband

Hi snoopy,
I definately don't want to sway you away from Marine Depot, however I thought it be best that you are informed. As I'm sure you know, Australian copperbands are supposed to be hardier but in this case it wasn't very hardy:(. I feel really bad for es53! I plan on "jumping on the bandwagon" and getting a copperband for my 75 when I set it up but I think I'll just fine one that is eating mysis locally and buy it.

WAY TOO EXPENSIVE and may not eat aiptasia and may eat coral
Buy peppermint shrimp for $1.99 and IMO they work the best. Three of them cleaned my 180g in no time.
