Does anyone know the correct diamteter PVC fitting I need for the inlet and outlet? I've tried 1.5" and 2" both too small. The next size up in HD was 3" and it's way too big.

Does it take standard schedule 40 fittings?

Any help would be appreciated.

It should have one of these screw on fittings that the PVC will slip into:

You need this fitting. If you've lost it or didn't get one you could get one from MarineDepot.com

Here (http://www.marinedepot.com/a_pu_dolphin_as.asp?CartId=) is a direct link. It's called "1.5" split ring union fitting (fits all our pumps with 1.5"
ports)"

Thanks guys! I bought this from a fellow RC member and didn't get all the parts I guess. That's what happens when you try and save a buck!

Not really surprising. The fittings are slip fittings, so you have to glue your PVC into them. If they did come with the pump, they would have had a portion of PVC already in there. Wouldn't have done you any good unless there was enough that you could add a coupling or something. Your probably better off getting new one's anyway.
