Pc's disconnect

Any one know a way to use a disconnect between the ballast and the lamp? I use 3 prong cords on my MH's but pc's seem to use 4 wires. I need to build an 8 foot hood and would like a way to keep the wt. down. Thanks WWiley

Have you considered using Molex connectors? I don't know what the current requirement is for MH, but if you are worried about it, you could "gang" 2 pins for each conductor.
