About two months ago I bought this very cool looking tulip snail for my reef tank. I've never had any problems with it until today. I came home from work, and there it was, devouring my gorgeous purple maxima that's been in my tank for almost a year. :mad2: I did not know they were carnivorous...lesson learned the hard way. Just thought I would give out a warning. I guess escargot is on my dinner menu tonight.:mixed:

Some of my LFS have been getting them in for the past few months. They are definitely cool looking, but are not even a litle reef safe. Did you get it from your LFS?

Yes, I bought from one I don't usually go to. It did not get to my other maxima though. Looks like a trip to Harbor Aquatics is in store soon, their clams are great to choose from in person.
