pure aragonite sand

does anyone use pure aragonite sand from purearagonite.com? how do u like it? is it super white and sugar grain sized?

I have three 40 lb bags of Pure Aragonite sitting in my garage waiting for the completion of my new tank. I don't have much to compare it to. It looks very white to me. Grain size is a little larger than sugar. My understanding is that Pure Aragonite is washed South Down. Washing would theoretically remove some of the finer grains. It looks to me like there is some "dust" sized grains in the bag though.
I would have bought South Down but it is unavailable from Home Depot in northern California.
