Hi folks,

My elegance has what they call RTN at one end, I can see the skeleton and the tissue is kind of rotting away, the rest is doing fine and it still eats when i feed it shrimp. Is there a way of caring for this coral or should i take discard it before it fowls the water?

My elegance got this too. I think it didn't like the silt from the addition of some sand in the other end of the tank.

Pull it up to the surface of the water and give it a sniff. If it smells like a wet dog, chuck it. Do you have anything else in the tank that is very sensitive to this rotting tissue? Things like anenome and bubble corals will not like it much. But if this is the only thing in there, you could risk leaving it in the tank, but watch it close!

Hi hughem

What do you mean by chuck him?
I have a condy and bubble, what do you think should be done?
