My sebae has developed a hole, or so it appears, through his mouth that goes on through his foot. Its not a gaping hole but he pulls sand up through his foot and spits it out his mouth. Dr. Ron said this was a bad thing but didnt elaberate. He looked real bad for awhile but looks better now, somewhat. I have inclosed a pic. He has been this way for at least a month but does not seem ot be dying. He does not eat however and this worries me. He at good when I bought him a few months ago.

Any ideas? I hate to flush him if he may live but I dont want him to die and wipe me out.

I am no expert but it is possible that maybe this is the first step that your anemone is taking in spliting. Let us know how it turns out.

Sebae anemones are not known to be splitters. The anemone probably suffered an injury somehow, and it may or may not heal.
If it does split, doublecheck the ID of the anemone.
