I got my LTA ( Should be Macrodactyla doreensis, correct me if I am wrong) 2 weeks ago, it drilled into the sand bed in hours...

into the 6 inches deep sand bed

For the first week, I could only see it's purple tentacles but then it has come out from the sand for 4 days?

see the hollow that it dug before

Anyone can help?

Thanks!

Never had a personal experience with a lta but have you heard of the PVC pipe trick? Get a piece of pipe larger than your anemone's foot and place it inside then fill it up with sand. This might help it to stay under. Not being buried is not a good sign though.

Thanks!
I just read some information that my BTA may be the reason for the move of LTA. Is it true that different types anemones can not be kept together?

sometimes... depends on a tank size. I kept a big carpet with small bta in a 50g and had no problems. None of the anemones ever moved.
your LTA is very pretty.
