Anemone Splitting?

Before they split do the form a second mouth/anus?

Could someone briefly give the the proceedure on how they split.

I didn't notice a second mouth forming before the split, my anenome just looked like crap the night of the split! It had been looking great every day before, and after the split.

My BTa and my H. magnifica split from the mouth out. Once they complety separate, the anemone then form a new mouth.

Out of curiosity, what anemones most commonly split? I know BTAs seem to the most, but in captivity what are other ones that commonly split?

BTA commonly split as you know. H. magnifica (or Ritteri Anemone) sometime know to split in captivity. My H. magnifica have split twice now. I got three clones in my tank right now.
