How many fish in a 55 gal reef?

This is probably the age old question, but...
I have a 55 reef. Soft corals, hermits, snails, emerald crab, 2 p. clowns, peppermit shrimp.
How many small reef fish can I safely keep? Things such as p. clowns, wrasses, blennies, gobies, maybe a dwarf angel.

I would say 5 or 6 small peaceful fish should do well in a 55.
