my clown

i just bought a clown and an anemone there were perfectly coherent wiht eachother at the lfs but when i got him home insisted on roaming around the tank and never sttling inot the anemone is this normal for the first coupla o days

Yes, the clown has to acclimate to your tank. It will take some time but the clown will eventually find the anemone again.

Put in Green B.T.A. in my tank.Found himself a cozy spot in lower left corner of tank between a crevice of rock.

After two weeks I put in a Maroon Clown.Within 45 mins. there was a love connection.:)

It took about 24 hours before one of my maroon clowns found the anemones in my tank. Like Carlos said, they have to acclimate to your tank first. Now I have seen once where I had acclimated the clown first, then added his original anemone(a day later) that he was in at the LFS and that little clown dove right into the anemone before I could get it all the way down into the tank. ;)
