Hi All,

My BTA split about a week ago..It use to stay in the light all the time, but now each half seems to prefer to have it's foot in a cave and just the tenicles in the light...One has gone so far into my rock structure that I can only see a few of it's tenacles..Is this normal? I use to feed the single one a small scallop, but now that they've moved I can't even see there mouths to tell what size food they can eat...any ideas and does this sound like normal behaviour after a split?

Thanks,
Todd

Normal, just make sure to feed them or try to feed them. By now, they both should have developed a mouth.

Not sure how big the anemone are but looking at thier mouth is not a good indicator for "food size." Even my little 2"ers will eat silversides and medium Krill with ease.

Most of mine eat again at the end of the first week post split.

Good luck.

When mine split, it took about 7 to 10 days before they started acting normal. For the first week they would not eat and would hide in between rocks. Not until the second week did they start to eat and stay in the open.
