Anenome Feeding

how many times a week do you recomend feeding a anenome. I currently feed it a whole shrimp twice a week. Im thinking about the possibibilty of doing it 3 times...... What do you think? How often do you feed your anenome?

three times should be fine but do consider feeding smaller chunks of food. The large morsels of food are taken in but later expelled by the anemone. Feed foods that are of brine shrimp size like mysis or formula one that is broken up

3-4 times should be ok; I'd vary what you're feeding it, maybe shrimp or krill one feeding, silversides/fish the next...and I agree you should feed it smaller pieces

remember, the more you feed it, the faster it will grow. i'm wishing that my LTA had been fed less in the past...

I learned to feed them day time so they can take the food. If you feed them before light off they might spit it out. Not sure but I always feed mine in the morning.

I feed mine all sorts of things... mixtures of defrosted krill, Formula 1, Formula 2, my own fresh seafood blend, etc. Sometimes I feed it a few days in a row, sometimes twice in one day, sometimes I don't feed it for 3 days. Different times during the day. Random. Just like the ocean.
