No such thing as acrylic PVC.
Clear PVC however, you can buy from both www.savko.com and www.aquaticecosystems.com

www.tapplastics.com
is one of many places. Check out the DIY forum here...There's a thread that is kept at the top that lists suppliers of stuff.

You could check with a large pastics distributor like Laird Plastics, Curbell, Commercial Plastics, or Ridout Pastics. I'm sure they would have what you're looking for.

I was under the impression that PVC is PVC- a certain type of plastic...polyvynal something or other.... do you mean you need acrylic or clear plastic rigid tubing?
heck i once thought CPVC was "clear" PVC, not PVC for heated water applications (if the guy at HD knew what he was talking about when he told me that)

CPCV-Chlorinated Poly vinyl chloride
The extra chlorine boosts the heat distortion temp. of the material. PVC in its natural state is clear, but because of all the fillers, plasticizers and of course colorants clear is a non-typical material. Besides reefers I think most people would be offended by what the pipes lok like after 10 years of crud going down them...probably like a skimmer cup.

I see you're in MA. How close are you to East Granby, CT? Curbell has a branch location there and I know they have what you need.
Or you could try Laird Plastics in Woburn, MA. They have acrylic tube as well.

Here's a link where you can get clear PVC piping...you can get anywhere from half inch to 2 inch diameter, schedule 40 or 80. An 8 foot piece of 1.25 inch was only 26$.
It may take a bit to navigate to what you want, this is a huge supply company, their catalog is a few thousand pages, so site is also huge...but hang in there, they got what you're looking for.
here's the link mcmaster (http://www.mcmaster.com/)

Check out US Plastic Corp. (http://www.usplastic.com)
US Plastic carries clear PVC pipe up to 4" in diameter and they have a good selection of clear PVC fittings. They also carry acrylic pipe up to 6" in diameter - and the acrylic is about 1/2 to 1/3 the price of the PVC.
