O.K. in the continuing saga of my poor carpet ...
I have posted a few times in the last week or so on here about different stages my new carpet was going though. He was doing way better and all as far as looks he did quit eating and sometimes has his mouth wide open ! it's been like 4 days since he ate now.. i was watching my tank and a couple of little "bulbs" went floating by i know they r from the carpet due to shape size and color. i am not gonna freak cause alot of animals shed a little bit i just wanna know if it's normal or if i need to panic :)

I wouldn't say that that is normal but don't freak. Have you tried force feeding your carpet. Mine would not eat for a long period but it remained sticky or it still stung. The way I force fed mine was a put the peice of shrimp right on his mouth and pushed gently. After a minute it started to suck it in.
