OK, I am getting ready to sell a tank and stand combo that I bought used.

Outside Dimensions:

48" Long X 14.5" wide X 24" Tall.

According to how aquarium companies rate their tanks I come up with 70G. The problem is a 70G is 48X19X21 according to the charts I can find.

I think it would help me sell the tank if I knew what it was.

Also, tank has a stand (decent) and I made a hood with DIY but nice 4X55W PC lighting. It is set up as a skimmerless tnak with 6" sandbed, and has about 40# LR. Is $350 a fair price for a running tank? I will probably be throwing in some free frags if the owner decides to keep it as a reef.

Any help is appreciated.

I came up with 72.3 gals.
LxWxH divided by 231
That is 72.3 gallons.

that's how I came up with my estimate as well, I am just surprised I can't find that size tank for sale anywhere.

Do you know what brand it is?

that's the problem.

I first thought it was a 55 when I bought it, but after putting it next to a 55, it isn't. The glass is thicker, and it is slightly wider/ much taller than a 55.
