What is the suggested watts per gallon for a bta?

Thanks.

bta's are highly adaptable and some have been kept in very low light levels. Watts per gallon is not an adequate measurement because what really matters is intensity. it's say from around 4-6 watts per gallon if you must measure it that way. try for metal halides.

i'd strive for more than that juts incase you wanna put some diff corals that need more light or something and for the anemone's benefit.

I will probably upgrade in a year when I move. I'm not going to keep anything too difficult right now, shrooms, candycane, zoo's, and some others that are easy to keep and hardy. So, do you think I could do a bta? Bo

Last question, do bta's (or any anemone for that matter) recede at night?

yea you'd probably be fine with those lights

Some bta's do and some dont.
