I have a BTA that wasn't doing to well under a 13w PC in a 12g tank...now I have it over a JBJ Formosa deluxe 2X65 PC's. I only put the daylight on and then switch it to actinics an hour before and after the daylights. So basically my BTA is under 65 watts. It's been under these conditions for the past 3 days and now its starting to get bubbly again. My question is...is it possible for the light to affect the BTA that fast or is it my imagination? Also, its never had bulbs at the tips but now I see that some of them are becoming bulbed...possible?

yes it is possible for light to affects any anemone very fast. They will respond to their environment if they like it or not. it's also very hard to keep an anemone in 12 gallons of water even if you're experienced. But you've upgraded your lighting so that's good and make sure you feed a lot if you're not already.

Thanks for the reply. I'm going to upgrade my tank to a 20-25g in the next 6 months or so. I hope it likes his new environment when I do. Would you say that 2X65 would do for a 20-25g tank? Only going to have coral frags and shrooms...
