I have maintained a marine aquarium for about 12+ years now. I have always limited my self to fish and inverts, and have had good luck with polyps and mushrooms. Now that I have expanded my hobby and increased the size of my system, I would like to start keeping some corals. I would like some advice on some corals that would be good starters.

Some of the specifics of my system.

ETSS skimmer
Sump w/refugium

(2) 160W actinic VHO

With that lighting and a calcium reactor, you should be able to keep pretty much anything.

Some good starter SPS corals would be Monitpora capricornis or Montipora digitata.

You dont need a calcium realtor. I use Sea lab calcium blocks and just throw them in when they disolve. I have major coraline growth
