New tank setup( life sand)

I want to use life sand to start my tank.

My guestion is. Were is a good place to order the sand from. I want the good sand the stuff with alot of life in it (little critters and thing good for the tank). I bought some for my 12g tank (it was the prepackaged kind).

I think the absolute best source of live sand to seed a DSB is other reefers. I would not make a DSB out of all live sand.
Your profile does not say where you're from, can you get Southdown??
If other reefers are not available to get sand from, I recommend www.BillsReef.com

I live in NorthEast Arkansas. My LFS is in Memphis Tn. 1hr 30min away. I don't now if I can get it in this area.

Most likely, you will have a tough time finding Southdown where you are. There are other options though.

I think ordering live sand online is a poor deal. I find it much cheaper to get it locally or from a buddy. The shipping on the sand just isn't worth it.
