View Full Version : any place in az to get southdown sand?

Anybody know of a place in AZ that has Southdown sand? I don't feel like paying all that extra money to get the same thing. I have checked a couple of HD and nothing.

South down does not distribute sand west of the Mississippi.
Maybe you could find someone nearby that has some extra they might sell you.

Hi you may want to try Home Depot in Las Vegas or your local HD .. there is a possible Substitute for South Down
I think The name is JET "something sand" if you go to http://www.homedepot.com and look at the online store in LV in the sand section they have it.

OR you can get it directly from South Down I will have to digg out the Number and the person to contact.

or you can do a search on South down sand on this board and you can get the Number.. That's what I did.

The person to contact at southdown is Dawn, the number is 1 800-526-1753 Ext.8821. Its About a buck a pound to ship to Cali.Check out the Jet play sand and let us Know if it is the real deal.

Email me, so I can reply with a way to have Southdown shipped to your local HD store for a lot less that you could buy it direct from Southdown. They have inflated their prices to like $13 per 50lbs + the shipping cost, but yet HD sells it for $4 a bag. It is price gouging. Even with freight charges it is a lot cheaper have a store-to-store transfer.
