Hello All,

This is going to sound stupid...

Yesterday I posted that my Coral Banded Shrimp had died. The night before I had noticed that he was acting rather sickly. I checked on him the next morning prior to leaving for work and saw that he was hanging limp, upside down, wedged between a rock. I was sure he was a goner. However, when I got home from work he was sitting upright in his usual position.

The only problem is that he is now missing the arm with the large claw. Is this the result of an unsuccessful molt? If so, how do I ensure that future molts are successful. I maintain CA, MG, Nitrates, and Iodine.

Any ideas?

Thanks!
Susan

sorry to hear he survived. Better luck next time.:p

No seriously, CBSs are voracious predators to the critters that make your DSB functioning and healthy. It is contraindicative to have a CBS if you also want a healthy DSB.
