Questions over Algone Product

Hi,
Has anyone used the product Algone? Does this product work? Is it safe for all inverts? I am worried about my new snails and don't want to kill them. Thanks a million.

I've been trying it in my reek tank for about three months with good results ... so far.

I can tell it works. I can see the difference as algae starts to slowly form on my tank walls after the product pouch has been used for over about 2-3 weeks and needs to be repalced. As soon as I replace the pouch with a new one, no more algea forming on the tank walls when I come home at the end of the day. Everything seems to be healthy and striving in my reef tank -- I think. What I like is that I only have to clean the tank with my magnet algae scrapper about once every couple weeks. My biggest problem is scraping corraline algea that starts to form ont he front glass/acrylic.

I cannot tell you much more, other than I am skeptical of most products, but on advice of another, I tried it also. Only time will tell.
