In Memory of Benny The Blenny

I took this photo just last week. Today the poor guy is dead. He's been in my tank for over two years. I never really saw him eat anything but algae off the glass. I tried Nori on a rock, and many other things, although I never really worried about him because he always seemed fine. He always looked the same. Maybe it was just his time, who knows.
Anyway here he is.

If it's any consolation, his name lives on in my reef (my wife named our red lipped blenny "Benny" also...) :)

Sorry to hear about the bad news. He was a cute little guy. I've had blennys before with the same results. I've came to the conclusion that they are very hard to care for - for me anyway. RIP Benny.

I'm so sorry to hear this! :( I, too, had a blenny for over two years that suddenly passed away...it still makes me very sad just thinking about it!

I suspect that it was just Benny's time. Take heart in the fact that he lived a good life in your tank! :)

Thanks for the thoughts. I'm just so happy I got that Photo when I did. It was rare that he would pose for me like that. Those Eyes are really something.
