Looks like aiptasia to me... Sorry.

Kill it while you can!!!! Try kalking it or maybe adding a peppermint shrimp or two...

Good luck!!!

No, its not on the power head. It has about doubled in size in the last week. Should I kill every aiptasia that I have?

You have more ? Unless you want your tank over run by them kill them or buy something (like a pep. shrimp ) that will .

Wipe them out... All of them... (for the star wars fans out there LOL)

Get every one you can. If your tank is small, kalking every one at one time might not be as safe as trying a peppermint shrimp or two...

FWIW I did in mine, but some people leave them alone until they start messing with the corals. BTW: IO agree that it is Aiptasia.

Looks like it to me...you'll have a nice garden in a few months if you don't get rid of it. Try peppermint shrimp, they may not eat the biggest ones but they will usually take care of new ones. Also a medical syringe with kalkwasser/water mix (I use hot water) injected in the center of the larger ones, if you can catch them, will kill them.
