MOVEABLE THERMOMETER MY *****!i!

I purchased a stick-on thermometer from Petco

it is Aquatic Gardens brand and on the packagin it says:
-Moveable

In the back it says:
-NEW MOVABLE THERMOMETER
That you can move, simply peel off and relocate.




Well i placed this thermometer on my aquarium and i noticed it was a little crooked so i used a knife to life up a corner and i pealed it off slowly (btw it took some strength as it seemed well-stuck onto the glass). and i noticed the black part cracked and i was like screw it and just pulled it off and the entire thing like got torn apart.


I PAID OVER 2 BUCKS FOR THIS P.O.S!

I dont have the receipt so should i take it back to petco?

Movable or not, the thermometer you describe is worthless. It will give you an unreliable reading, as it is effected by the ambiant temp in the room.
Forget the $2.00, it's the cheapest lesson you'll ever learn in this hobby. Go to Radio Shack and get a digital thermometer that you mount on your canopy, or wall, or whatever, and it has a probe that you put in the water. Much more reliable.
