Venturi Skimmer

Have a 75gal saltwater aquarium and am setting it up. Bought a Venturi 125 skimmer and was under the impression that it was for aquariums up to 125gal. Found that they make a 75 skimmer for 75gal. Will the 125skimmer be alright to use for my 75gal. with a wet/dry filter. Has a rio 700gph pump{approx}.

It should be fine. Most people buying large skimmers try to overestimate the skimming ability of the skimmer anyway.
