MH or HQI?

Can't decide on which to use. What are the pros and cons of each? I am considering purchasing an AB fixture but don't know anything about HQI. Any suggestions?

real HQI? or do you mean a double ended MH bulb?

HQI is "high quartz iodide" and is actually a trade mark name. It can apply to both single and double ended bulbs, but is usually associated with bulbs that have a two part filament requiring a pulse-start type ballast to ignite them.

For what it's worth, the new IceCap HQI ballasts will ignite HQI and non-HQI bulbs alike.
