I have a 125 gallon all glass aquarium with the built in overflows. I'm happy with them except for the gurgling sound I often get. I have started reading up on durso standpipes and it appears these may be what I need. Would it be hard to install one in a twin-flow system? Would it solve this gurgling sound? I'm interested in any positive or negative feedback on these.
Do a search on Durso and you'll find a ton of info. Don't forget his site:

Quieted down Oceanic RR 75 all we can hear is the return pump... Richards instructions are so easy to follow even a non DIY person could make it.

I have an AGA 120 and I believe the overflows are the same for the 125. Here is a pic:

They do work very well and simple to make.
