I have a 90gal taht I am starting up and it came with glass cover.
I am under the impression that the glass will filter much of my beneficial light. I am using 2 65watt PC. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Most folks use "Egg Crate" to cover the tank. It is the stuff used with Flourecent (sp) lighting. Can get it at home depot or lowes.

I don’t use anything over my tank if I wanted a cover I would use egg crate as Vert20 suggested. Another reason that I wouldn’t use glass tops is that it prohibits gas exchange.

I bought some at Lowes in the drop in ceiling tile section. I’d suspect it to be in the lighting or ceiling tile section at Home Depot.

egg crates (a.k.a flourescent light diffusers) aren't worth it, IMHO, unless you have dartfish that like to jump... even then, if you have an enclosed hood, you'd have nothing to worry about.
