OK, I followed the advice of all of you in RC that advocate a bio-ball-less(don't even know if that's a word) sump-trickle filter. Now my question is ( & please no smart*** answers please :) ) What do I do with the 5 gallons of bio-balls I have? Everyone asks why I keep them in a bucket next to my tank. What else are they good for. Should I just chuck them? --Rob--

You could sell them on E-bay, there are still quite a few people who use them.

if your wife is into house plants have her put them in the bottom of the container before replanting..great for drainage...

I threw mine in the toy box for the grandkids. They throw and put them together all the time.
