8.0 to 8.5
Not trying to be harsh, but if you didn't already know this then you ahve some reading to do. Buy at least two books about reefing and read them cover to cover several times. This will answer many questions before you have to ask them. Also, just so you know, the exact pH is not as important as keeping it stable. Try to get it between 8.0 and 8.5 and then do all you can to keep it exactly where you set it. Also know that it goes down at night and comes back up when the lights come on. Buy some books, and have fun!!

Welcome to Reef Central.

The best PH for me is somewhere between 7.85-8.3. PH will fluctuate through your photo period. Mine starts out with a morning low somewhere between 7.8-8.0 and by the end of the lighting cycle which is 12 hours is somewhere between 8.2-8.35. The light stimulates photosynthesis which makes PH rise as Co2 is consumed. Acceptably ranges for most would be somewhere between 7.8-8.5 depending on the time of day. Heres a good article on Ph problems and some information on Ph in general.
