30 gallon-want your ideas

in the summer i am setting up a 120 reef tank, w/ 3-400 watt halides, and vho's.

But all that i have know is a 30 gallon and stand, i have it drilled and would like your ideas on-

1.what sump to use, and how to set it up?

2.i have 2-96watt pc's can i have acros?

3. i know a guy that has a 33 long that he wants to get rid of for a $100, should i buy it and use it as a grow out tank?

if so what lighting on that.

any suggestions welcome.
