I have had my tank set up since apr 2002 anyways the story I have is if I put a power head in the tank it gets coraline on it within a week but nothing on the glass is that strange or what very little growing on live rock I have posted a thread on coraline already current,lights,no phos ec.. but why on the power heads so soon purple and pink 100gal 2 250w isakis 4 -40 watt antic 100 #plus marshall island an figi overflow inside covered with green pink orange green

Coralline is most likely to attach to a surface that is rougher than glass. Eventually, it will probably grow on the glass too, assuming it is growing well in other areas of your tank and the glass gets roughly as much light as the other areas of coralline.

Calcium and circulation seem to be the keys to good coraline growth.
Do you have good calcium levels?
