I currently have a 72 gal bowfront that houses 2 clowns,1 yellow tang,1 coral beauty angel,1 cleaner shrimp,1 coral banded shrimp,1 blennie and 3 chromis. I am thinking of adding 2 pajama cardinals and am wondering if they will be ok or should have they been introduced very early when I was setting my tank a year ago? Any help would be much appreciated.

Sounds like a nice environment for them, they should do fine.

The Yellow Tang will easily outgrow that tank or become obsessively territorial.

Another foreseen problem will eventually be the Banded Coral Shrimp.
First opportunity it will kill your Cleaner Shrimp, and eat many of your valuable fauna.

Merry Christmas,
Ed

I forgot 1 fish that is in my tank and that is 1 bangai cardinal , do you think they would still be ok?

That does make it a little harder. If you had a pair of bangaii, I would definitely not do it, but you have a single one. My concern would be that you add this pair of pyjamas, and then once they're established and breeding they might decide to kill your banggai.

I agree with Dave, mixing cardinals of oppossing species is bad news, even in a big tank.
