Just wondering if its ok to return my fish to the tank if the ammonia is at .3 mg/L. Is this safe enough?

Just some back ground.
I moved my tank so my fish are in the sump and I returned all rock and water to the main aquarium and there has been a slight Ammonia spike of .3
All other parmeters are fine
ph 8.4
Nitrites .3
Nitrates 0

What do you think
Thanks
Josh

No it's not safe.

As long as ammonia and nitrite are present at all, you should not have livestock in the tank.

Sounds having a cycle due to the move; you need to let it complete.

Im doing a couple water changes as well to try and decrease the ammonia in the water. I hope it will bring it down enough so that I can return the fish.
