I just started up my 92 gallon tank about a week ago. I have a 2" layer of Pure Caribbean Aragonite. I have 2 - 3/4" Seaswirls running @ maximum capicity (around 900 gph each). The water movment in the tank seems great. I have one Sea Swirl mounted in the 2 rear corners of the tank. The problem I have is when they rotate and point towards the front of tank, I have a large bare spot where all of the sand in the 2 front corners has blown towards the back. I can reduce the flow but in order to stop this from happening I would need to cut the flow considerably. I'm considering going bare bottom. Any suggestions? Anyone else scrap the sand in order to achieve higher flow?
