what do i need to dose aquarium and how do i do it? Please list equipment needed and additives. Where can I purchase these items? Thanks.

It really depends on what you want to keep. I would add a buffer for alkalinity and a calcium supplement. A two part additive such as Kent Tech CB or B-Ionic. You just measure and dump them in a high flow area of you tank. That with regular water changes is all you basically need. Premium Aquatics is a great online store.
