Coralline Dissapearing??

I had this one piece of LR that was so purple and amazing... and now it looks as if the coraline is eroading away :(

Some things might be the light is on too long... I'm not sure... i've never heard anyone else talk about this... It just seems really wierd that that would happen.... anywho... thanks in advance :)

Could be too much light, could be too little calcium. Could be many things. Most of my corraline is out of the direct light (it is on vertical surfaces, on areas that receive reflected light, etc.)

What is your lighting, how deep is the rock under the light, and what is the orientation?

To save any trouble I'm gonna take a pic l8r...

basically we are using 2 PC's at 75 W each over a 65 gal tall tank :)

I bet your right about the calcium....

I don't have a calcium test kit... so i have no idea...
