View Full Version : WTTB Skimmer
Hey does anyone have a skimmer for sale? I want to put another skimmer on my 315g tank. Im looking for anything that can handle over 150 gallons.
Thanks

For a tank that size the skimmer will be very pricey. If you don't run into a real good deal I'd look into making your own. Several in our club have done this and it's very inexpensive. I'm sure they can chime in.
Thanks for the input. I currently have one in sump skimmer that rated for 500g but I would like to get another one for extra skimming. I would very interested from those who have built their own...Thanks everyone!

Hey Teo,
I have a downdraft clone that I've modified for a Beckett foamhead. It works very well but like most of these skimmers it takes a hefty pump. I ran it on a Mag-12 with a valve to cut it back a little. A Mag-7 was not strong enough - maybe a Mag-9 would work.
I don't know about $'s yet but unless I change my mind it is available.
BTW - got that xenia for you.

I have an ETS Reef Devil 750 I am looking at getting rid of, I would like to get $220 for it or $320 with a Iwaki 40RLT pump. Heres a URL with some specs....
