IF anyone has a septic system don't call M.A. Williams! We decided to get ours pumped since we've been here for 5 years. The company gave us a price of 185$ and a additional charge for extra tanks.Well after about 5 min of the guy being here he informed me that the tank is under the above-ground pool.
"That will be 103$ for service charge" WHAT??

I understand that you ca'nt drive a big diesel truck around for nothing but 103$ for no work! I called the manager of the company and he told me that that was a very good deal and others charge more!I also told him that I did'nt have a problem with a service charge but 103$ with out having told me of this charge when I originally called was pretty steep. He explained in great detail how I was wrong and he was right !

Customer Service Lives!!

The funny thing, and about the only satisfaction that I will get,is that he argued with me for so long on the phone while his employee was just standing around. So the 10min job he was justifying cost 103$ took well over an hour!

Dang, too bad LB.

Last summer my parents had to call out the plumbers b/c of bad drainage, and to make a long story short . . . the septic tank (> 600 gallons) had grown full of roots. No one would touch it, and one company said all my parents could do was install a new septic tank for $$$. My dad decided to first try tackling the problem himself. So with a drill, some chains, a truck, and multiple hours in 90+ deg. weather he pulled out two of these root balls!

LB,

You can look at it this way.

When something (not good) happens with our reef tanks (tank crash, dog knocked it over, party friends fed all the fish pizza) we take it as a sign that it is a good time to upgrade to a bigger tank.

Does this mean it's time to upgrade to an in-ground pool?????
Frag Swap at LB's this summer!!!! :)

For the Tek Reflectors, found this:

The Tek II is now 3 1/8” wide. The original Tek reflector was 2 1/8” wide.

I couldn't find specifics but the IceCap SLRs look at least 3" wide
