Eheim pumps + Metric fittings ?

Anyone know where I can purchase metric fittings for the Eheim pumps ? I have a Eheim 1260 and I want to plumb it using Sch 80 plumbing. Seems like the output is 5/8" in dimension. I have had no luck finding Sch 80 fittings to get this pump plumbed ? :confused:
Any help ?

I gave up trying to find PVC/ABS metric fittings in the US after a lengthy internet search, but was surprised to find a standard 3/4 male thread worked fine on both the input and output of my Eheim 1262 with the addition of extra teflon tape. I used 6-8 wraps as opposed to the usual 3 and so far no leaks. I think the 5/8 dimension is that of the hose barb.
