Since the lounge was pretty quiet yesterday, I decided to take down the Christmas tree and pack away the Christmas stuff.

Since the lounge was pretty quiet today, and I had nothing else to do, I started ripping wallpaper off the stairway and upstairs hallway. Unfortunately, the wallpaper extends into the living room and there just was no logical place to stop so I've started on the living room too. You people better be back wasting my time tomorrow! :D

And for woman who have anal husbands that didn't know this, here's a little tip of advice....apparently you are not supposed to use a putty knife to remove screwd from the wallplates even though they work perfectly fine

You waited until yesterday to take down the Christmas tree?!?!

We set ours up Christmas eve eve, by 7AM the 26th the tree was in the yard, and the Christmas boxes were in the car ready to go back into storage :D.

I had to wait. My inlaws came in Friday night to celebrate Christmas. As soon as they left for Florida, Sat. morning, the tree came down and everything was packed away. The tree was set up a week before Christmas but not decorated until Sat.

I've never taken mine down before the 6th of January. Isn't there a law about that?

:D We've always taken ours down the day or 2 after Christmas. More or less once the presents are opened we want it OUT, we don't have room in our house for the little 3ft tree we get every year as it is.

Yeah since it was so quiet I took down 17 Christmas inflatables, about 76 lawn decorations - blow molds, only 4 strings of lights

Still a dozen inflatables, 100 blow molds & a couple thousand lights to go

Not as bad as the time I used some expensive tool of his as a chisel to break up some live rock and ruined the tool. it worked so I didn't see the problem. :D

I got the stairway and hallway done and started in the living room. I'll get that done today. Hubby may come home to find the carpet from the stairs and hallway in the front lawn. He's used to it by now and as long as it's not his clothes, he's fine with that

Wizard, I don't do pink. Can you get those shoes in Red:

I took everything down on Saturday and got it all pack up and put away. Glad it's over.

My wife made the comment that it was going to take me a while to take down all our lights. I said "Yeah, but I have five or six months before I have to worry about that." She wasn't amused.

The Light Keeper Pro has helped me fixed many many strands of minis. Bought one at Lowes this year for 50% off. :D
