Question for Geo or RokleM or anyone else that knows geo skimmers

Hey guys,
I have RokleM's old dual recirc. skimmer and have a question. The elbow on the inside of the reaction chamber that is connected to the input hose which way should it face? Up, down, or to the side? Thanks a lot.

I angled mine a little to the down/side.

I am not sure about the Geo but on my Octopus re-circ the elbow faces to the side.
