Rock Band

My girlfriend and I bought her son Rock Band for the 360 for X-Mas. I have to say it is one bad assed game! Has anyone else played it or bought it? If so we should play online.

Nice! Its a sweet game but my USB adapter that came with it is defective. When you plug in the power supply for the adapter the plug doesnt go in all the way and you have to jiggle it around for it to work. I am about to figure out tonight what company I have to contact in order to have them send me a new one because this one is going to break real soon I think!

Oh man I had the Ring Of Death also! But I got the extended warranty from Best Buy and just went in and swapped it for a new one. I made sure it was from the new batches of consoles. After about a year of my girlfriends son and I playing it, watching movies on it and playing CD's on it it hasnt overheated and killed itself so I think i'm in the clear!

UGGGGHHH.....I loaned my brother my Guitar Hero II with Guitar over christmas...called him tonight and told him I was picking it up tomorrow and he tells me the disc has all these rings around it and he can't play it...not readable......UGHHH....has this ever happened to anyone? I am so ticked off right now.

Nice pics of your son rockin it out! Yeah for the extra hundo that you pay for RB you get a sweeter guitar, and all the other peripherals. The guitar is a Startocaster replica and it is designed for leftys or rightys. The drums are very challenging but fun to play. The microphone triples as a tamborine and cowbell. The main selling point of the game to us was the fact that the Grateful Dead signed on and put a whole album of theres available for download! And its good for our family because the four of us can play it together. Or when a group of us comes back late night from the bar we can have some serious debauchery.

Trip I have heard something in the past about the older 360's scratching the discs for some reason but it never happened to me.

got rock band for christmas man the drums are hard. I dont like the guitar either im so used to the guitar hero guitar i thought it was a little bit harder to play than the gh guitar. Overall its an awesome game though.

I just got done playing the drums on easy for about 6 hours, on and off and it is real hard! Watching all that stuff flash on the screen and keep the beat is a pain. My eyes start messin me up real bad.
