I just got a PS3. I want to hook it to the internet so I can play online. What do I have to do? Do I need to buy anything else? Do I need to sign up anywhere? What does it cost per month? I have roadrunner internet service. It goes to a linksis router, then to my computer. I have a notebook that is wireless. Thanks, Terry

Hi, you need to sign up for an account but there are no monthly fees, also your PS3 should have a wireless adapter built in, if no you can use the network adapter that came with it. You set up the wireless or hard wired connection just like you did to your notebook.

I can make the PS3 wireless? Sweet. Its the 80g PS3. I got a ethernet cord with it. Do I plug it into the router and then to the PS3. My router is on my TV stand.

I would use the ethernet cord it's a more solid connection than wireless, but yes your 80 gig it's got wireless built-in. Yes plug it in and go to the settings in your ps3 a follow the instructions.

Thanks. I appreciate it. People at best buy tried to sell my girlfriend all kinds of extra stuff. Thanks a bunch.

Those Best Buy guys :) that's why I don't talk to them, I do my research online and then I go get the stuff I need, that's if I don't get it online :)
