How do you get clear pics of your fish?

I have a nice (new) digital camera. Still need to experiment, but is there a certain setting for getting good pics? It seems to get a little blurry when I get real close

Tell the fish to stand still and tell it to say cheese when you are ready to snap its photo.

:D

Your camera may be trying to focus on "stuff" floating around in the water. Try turning off the pumps first, and letting things settle for a few minutes.

Also check the Photography Forum: they're full of hints on how to do this. Having a steady base helps. Limiting reflective light helps...Accurately predicting where your fish will be when the shutter-lag actually lets the shutter click? Priceless. ;)
