so it's curried shrimp soup tonight.

pound of frozen shrimp. cook in skillet with olive oil---it will start de-watering, making sauce.
Shake in 1/3 bottle curry powder. Yep---1/3 bottle.
COok about 15 min.
It's almost soup.
Add a cup of low fat cottage cheese.
Cook until melted.

Serve, over rice, or [lowcal] in a bowl with a spoon.

takes about 20 min to fix, two interventions, no big fuss. And it's pretty low-cal, low-fat, while not tasting like cardboard.

and you have to post this when i am stuck at work no food and only a small turkey sammy at noon
and i still 2.5 hours left to go

growing up overseas we had the best curry dishes around

Beef roast w/ the fixins that crock-potted for 12 hours.

Didn't need no stinkin' knife for the roast.

well i finally ate at 2 am had a grilled cheese and cup-o-soup mmm

back to work today ate the biggest arbys roastbeef sandwhich they had and now doin good
ask me in 6 hours ill be hungry

how comes i have to suffer when my girl went on a diet
i mean ooo ya gained 5 lbs and ya now weigh 113 lbs
and now i eat freaking RICECAKES ahyhhh and lowfat oreos
yes lowfat oreos that should be a crime!

That's sad, Mr. Ferrit, and it's the holidays. Surely she could relent with a great big steak and baked potato.

after eating that crap for 2 days they shall feel my wrath

That sounds fantastic. I only wish my husband liked curry but I'll definitely try this recipe when he's out of town! :D
