the sting of the ban stick?

I took a whack with it in my very very early days as a member here

I got myself into a "spirited banter" with a mod and whoops! I let it go too far, granted that was before I knew the boundarys, but it was all my doing nonetheless

I made the appropriate apologies, mended my ways & save the "spirited political & societal banter" for the holiday family dinner table (thats when there are enough of us to get a good "spirited" banter underway)

I was threatened to change my ways when I first joined RC. I had said something about a kid being a kid in a post where the kid was just trolling for a whooping. I can't remember which mod it was that threatened me but when the kid showed his true colors I did get an apology from the mod.
