Every time I get packages in via Fed Ex they arrive either on time or even a day early.

Probably 1 out of 3 times it's UPS I get an email notification there was a train delay, or a mechanical problem caused this delay. I mean seriously! Is it possible UPS really has this many mechanical or train delays? I just find it hard to believe. I think it's more likely they just aren't able to meet their commitments and make up stories to cover it up. Anyway, it's just my experience. I get shipments all the time from both companies. Maybe it's just my location.

i'm pretty sure its a regional thing. I prefer Fed-ex for my shipping of choice and will pay a little extra if a company offers fed-ex for shipping over any of the others. I get packages from time to time with uPS, and everything always seems to get here when they say it will but I have had a couple times where the package was handled roughly and damaged the contents. Never had the same problem with Fed-EX.

I'm sure you are right. Probably someone in New York has the opposite experience.

I live in Pennslyvania, and never have had any problem with either UPS or FedEx.

:D And here I've NEVER, not once had a bad shipment with either of them! I think it is a regional thing, I use UPS whenever I can because we have a really nice UPS driver and I know exactly when I can expect him to be here. Plus, by UPS I sometimes get my packages a day early. I get orders of crickets about once a month and even with two day shipping I get them overnight ;). And then our UPS driver when he sees its some crickets for me when its cold out he'll put them up front next to the heat so they don't get too cold.

I haven't had any trouble with Fedex (not even a beat up box) but they seem to be a little bit more random in when they get out here, where UPS I know I can expect them to be out here between 4PM-8PM. :D

I like UPS's new marketing campaign.

"We won't break you stuff...or your money back."

That's marketing genious.

Ups broke my skimmer, and fedex said I would get my package the 21st. Now I have to wait till after christmas, and it was supposed to be a gift.

I ship with both of them alot and if I had to pick one or the other I'd say UPS over FedEX. They both have their problems but for the most part they're good.

I personally never have trouble with UPS and delays . . . My issue are sometimes they will drop a package off and require a signing for it. Like some crickets I ordered online . . . Why on earth so I have to sign for crickets, not to mention sitting in cold weather all day long in a truck . . . I just dont get it, even for like smalls gifts I ordered some were just dropped off some they left a tag on the door for me to sign . . . Unless it is just how the shipper had them shipped. I am unsure . . .

It's how the shipper has them shipped
FedEx, DHL & UPS are more then happy to drop the stuff anywhere & leave
